Britannia Is Met By The Home Fleet. The Royal Yacht Britannia, bringing H.M. The Queen and Prince Philip home from their State visit to Denmark, was greeted by the Home Fleet 10 miles off Kinnards Head, Aberdeenshire. The Home Fleet, with the Britannia leading, then steamed towards Cromarty Firth. It was the start of the three day visit by the Queen and Prince Philip to the Home Fleet.
