Press Photo New Acquisition to The British Museum

A new acquisition to the British Museum shown in the board room at a meeting of the trustees: A statuette of a Roman boy, Lucius Julius Magnus, dedicated presumably by his parents, to his genius. He is shown holding a book-roll, with a book box at his feet, and the inscription states that he died at the age of 15 years, six months and 20 days.
