Model of New Type Prison Cell on Display.: A model of the new type of prison cell referred to by Mr. R.A. Butler the Home Secretary in the publication of the white paper "Penal Practice in a Changing Society" - was shown to the press this morning. The design is completely new with different placing of the door and cell furniture to enable more economic use to be made of floor space. Photo shows view of the new style cell - the type now in use at Everthorpe Prison - at the display at 17 Monok Street this morning.
