1960 Press Photo Anton Regler plays a shepherd's horn

On the shepherd's horn: the shepherd Anton Regler (Anton Regler) blew the start for the 24th Shepherd's Day in the small town of Hersbruck (HERSBRUCK) in Franconia, which was held on Jan.6th. With this annual show, the members of this dying-out profession want to keep up the traditions of the shepherd profession. Anton Regler brought with him his horn in order to donate it to the Shepherd's Museum in Hersbruck where pieces which have any connection with the Shepherd's profession, are collected from all over the world.
