1986 Press Photo Swiss "Schwing - and Aelplerfest" stone throwing contest

Watch Your Head: Just about 200 pounds is the weights of a rock which plays an important role at the traditional Swiss "Schwing - and Aelplerfest" wick which took place in Sion in the Canton Valais this past weekend. Before those hunks of men pick up the monster and actually throw it, it is brought into the arena - on a stretcher by two men.
