Varian's New Electric Photo Process: This Photograph of Norman Parker, president of Varian Associates, is one of the first such prints to be produced by a prototype of the scientific company's new electrophotography system. Varian revealed that the new high-speed process, which still is under development, uses no silver and employs a special light insensitive paper material in a camera with an electrical rather than a mechanical shutter.
