Funeral of Shot Policeman - The Funeral Services for Pc. John Schofield. Took Piace today at the Parish Church of Ceterham-co-the-Hill, before cremation at Worth. Po. Schcfield was killed by a gunman WHile driving a police petrol car in Croydon Road, Caterham last Saturdcay. Two Other policeman with him were founded. Keystone Photo Shows:- Police Sgt James Findlay, who was hit in the arm during the shooting, seen with his wife, after attending today's duneral services.
