They Thought They Were Alone But Plenty of Eyes Saw This Greeting: Signalman Ken Herd and his wife were su~e that nobody was looking when they embraced at Plymouth - on the arrival of H.M.S Daring. They did not notice the party of sailors high above them on the other ship. Even if they did it would not have bothered them any... Ken and his wife were married only a week before be he left aboard the Daring - last year. They live at Paignton Devon.
