1965 Press Photo Chimpanzee and owner Pierre Thomas

Nancy and her new master: Nancy, the four-year-old Chimpanzee, seems to greatly enjoy the company of her new master, 22-year old Pierre Thomas. Pierre has been drtaming to become a circus tamer ever since he was a young boy. Thanks to a money allowance he obtained after a contest Pierre was able to train as a tamer and he has now been engaged by a circus.
