First Lambs of the Season in the Peak District. Photo shows: 2 year old John Percival of Blackwell Hall Farm, Teddington, near Buxton, looks down on the first lamb of the season in the Peak District of Derbyshire where they were born on the last day of the Old Year. Two years ago, Judy, the proud mother of the twins, was nursed back to health by farmer's wife Mrs. Gregory and had to be fed on the bottle. The twin lambs are to be named Joseph and Mary.
