Sky-Flats Evacuation Starts Today: The evacuation of Families from Newham Council's Ronan Point-style flate started today. Many of the families will be moving into a new 23-story block a half a mile away in Trinity Street, Canning Town. Unlike Ronan Point, which partially collapsed last May with the loss of four lives, the new building is of the Traditional construction. Photo shows Mrs. Ingeboug Paine with her daughter 7 year old Diane standing on their 19th story balcony overlooking the collapsed block of flats Ronan Point, take a last look before leaving for their new home in another block of flate, Ferrier Point, Canning Town.
