No reservation required.: One of Britain's leading experts on Red Indian folklore and culture, Ed. Blackmore - appeared in full Indian regalia at the U.S. travel Service, Sackville St., W.L., to help present prizes to the lucky winners of a six-day holiday in an American Indian reservation. Ed. Blackmore and his wife, (also in full Indian costume) pointed out some of the more exciting aspects of India culture, and advised the competition winners on how they should spend their holiday. The competition, organised by Radiation Parkray Ltd. tied in with the Company's autumn 1969 advertising campaign "Heap Big Heat Month". It was open to anyone who places an order for a Parkray 99x during last Autumn, and involved choosing the correct 99x appliance for different room settings and writings a slogan. Winners of the competition were Mr. Mrs. B.F. Benstead, of 5, Fairbairn Road, Cambridge. Photo shows ED. BLACKMORE and his wife, in full Indian regalia, walking in London after today's presentation of prizes.
