Bride to be bids farewell to her animals : For German born Gudrun Bauersachs of Victoria B.C the approach of her wedding day this month was a joy mingled with a little bit of arrow for Gudrun must bid farewell to the many animals which she and her brother Lutz care for at the Zoo opened by their parents on 34 acres of Woodland at Victoria, B.C., Nineteen year old Gudrun is as much at home with tigers lions cougars etc., as the average girl is with a cat or a dog. Her husband to be is Allan Dubois a soldier in the Canadian army. Dubois is to be posted to Germany in September and it is Gudrun's intention to visit all the zoos in Europe but she will miss the old life the world where timber wolves talk next to the compound of grizzly bears etc. Photo shows Gudrun Bauersachs romps with a two year old Cougar when she said food bye prior to leaving her Zoo home in Victoria B.C.
