Britain's New Super Tank: The Chieftain, the World's most powerful tank, was being put through it's paces before the War Minister Mr. Joseph Godber, at Chertsey yesterday. The 50 ton tank carries a 120mm velocity rifled gun which places it far in advance of anything else in the World. The tank has a top speed of 25mph, runs on any kind of fuel, has infra-red head lamps for night operations, is virtually amphibious, and fully protested against radiation.
