1962 Press Photo Resi Braun rescues brother from house with gas leak

Saving her sisters and brother was the 13 year old Resi Braun from Lauffen. When the gas pipes in front of the house where Resi lives with her parents were repaired, gas escaped and went into their house. Resi who entered the kitchen found her sisters and brother lying on the floor and already dangerously injured. She quickly opened the windows and doors and carried them outside. Then she fetched the doctor who was able to save them really in the last minute. OPS: That is the way Resi carried out her brother in the open.
