Description
Former German Feldwebel (Master Sergeant) as Santa Claus for US Soldier in Frankfurt Hospital. The former German Feldwebel Otto Klingenberg, who has been for 7 years as an soldier in Russia and for 3 years as PoW in Siberia, asked the Commanding General NAC, Maj. Gen. Thomas W. Herren for the permission, to present a Christmas gift to four American soldiers in Frankfurt Hospital. General Herren agreed, and Otto Klingenberg, now laborer with 250 Mark in a Frankfurt firm, came to 97. General Hospital to be Santa Claus for four US Soldiers, in order to show them that they have friends even if they are far from home.
