Description
The Ruins of the railway car are gaping like the yawning abyss of death. The train crushed into the opposite train on the single-track railway-bridge in Heutingsheim/Wurtemberg between Ludigeburg and Backnang. The engine-driver of the passenger train was jammed into the locomotive stand and died of the severe injuries. The stoker still hovers between life and death. 30 injuries.

Photo measures 5.5 x 7.75 inches.

Photo is dated 2-3-1953.
