British Diplomat appointed to Washington: Mr. John E Coulson is expected to take up his appointment as Minister at the British Embassy, Washington, in the fall. 45 years-of-age , he is a career diplomat and father of tow boys. A Cambridge graduate , he has , since joining Britain's Foreign Service in 1932, seen service in the United States (as Deputy Leader of the British Delegation to the United Nations, New York), France and Rumania.
