1968 Press Photo Sir Laurence Olivier & Anthony Quinn Hold Press Conference

Rome, January 1968 â Two great actors of the screen, Sir Laurence Olivier and Anthony Quinn held a press conference to regard the film âœThe Shoes of the Fisherman❠in which they are reunited. Sir Olivier plays Kamenev, the head of the Russian State. He is head of the Politburo, the inquisitor who tortured Kiril Cardinal Lakot, played by Anthony Quinn, during his 20 years in a Soviet prison. Quinn plays the tormented man of God whose strength of character wins him the election as âœthe first non-italian Pope in four and a half centuriesâ. The story will set âœin the near futureâ.
