Conference on "Baldness"- opens in London: The three day conference attended by more than 200 International Doctors and Scientists - opened this morning at the Royal College of Surgeons, London - on the subject of "Baldness"... The Purpose of the conference is to set into motion - concerted International investigation into the growing of human hair - in laboratories throughout the world. Picture shows: Mr. Eugene Plant, who is in his 73 rd year- of Palmer Green, say he was bald for forty years. He is a dentist who states he has a knowledge of hair and how the growth may be regained. "I have grown my hair in the last two years" for myself and friends, and i am diametrically opposed to what i have heard this morning at the conference he said today.
