Clive Jenkins sues the Socialist worker newspaper over an article on Spain: Mr. Clive Jenkins Leader of the Association of Scientific Technical and Managerial Staffs Union in sueing for libel damages in High Courtyesterday, claiming that he had been held up to "hatred and ridicule" in an attack on him by the Left-wing newspaper Socialist Worker. The article appeared in February 1975 under the heading-Spain-Fly Me, I'm Clive. He is claiming damages from the newspaper and its editor Paul Foot, son of Britain's former United Nation's Ambassador, Lord Caradon and nephew of the Leader of the House of Commons Mr. Michael Foot, The defendants deny libel and say the article was fair comment and written without malice. Photo shows Mr. Paul Foot Editor of the Socialist Worker Newspaper on his way to the law courts this morning.
