Strange things happen at sea: Strange things happen at sea and this is one of them. Linda Burley (left) and Denise Hunwicks, are seen giving a weekly bath to Tanya, a 30 year old Indian elephant from Cleethorpes Zoo in Lincolnshire. Tanya learned to like a regular dip several years ago when she wandered from the zoo, which is on the beach into the sea. Now she demand's a good scrub down once a week.
