Press Photo Andean Collection for Spring by John Frederics

John Frederics in his Andean Collection for Spring 1954 has taken inspiration from the primitive Indians of Chile and Ecudor, and has devised a shape reminiscent of a Shallow Sugar Scoop. It has received various treatment, ad is seen here in rough Ecudor straw, with a rim of bright Quito Orange felt inside the narrow edge. A veil lightly dotted with tiny of matching felt shadows the face.
