Daughter Of Shirley Williams Rebecca Tat Launch Of New Red Cross Uniform; Rebecca Williams, grand daughter of World War I Red Cross Nurse, Vera Brittain (Testament of Youth) and daughter of Shirley Williams, (SDP), Launched a new Red Cross Uniform today, She was wearing the 1914 Red Cross uniform worn by actress Cheryl Campbell while playing Vera Brittain in the BBC TV series "Testament of Youth". Contrasting with the new uniform worn by Elisabeth Grimsey, a seventeen year old Red Cross Volunteer, whom last year saved a man's life by stemming the bleeding of an arm he out while escaping from a fire. Photo Shows Rebecca Williams wearing the 1914 Red Cross Uniform and Elizabeth Grimsey wearing the new uniform, with innovations which include a woolly hat which converts into a balaclava helmet, a bright red water proof jacket for outdoor work and trousers for the women volunteers, at the Red Cross headquarters in London.
