1981 Press Photo zoo in Berne, Switzerland,four young bald ibis

Four young "Waldrappen".: For the first time in the last five years the zoo in Berne, Switzerland, succeeded in bringing up four young bald ibis (lat: geronticus eremita). The bald ibis used to live in central Europe during the middle age, where he was exterminated for his good meat. Now bald ibis are living in the red sea area.
