Bird with an "Afro" Hair-do: As it hails from Africa, it's appropriate that his beautiful bird seems to be sporting an "Afro" hair-style. It's a crane (Balearica pavonina) which grows to a full metre in height and it's natural habitat is on the Lakes and along the river banks of central Africa where it lives in large flocks. This one was pictured in Warsaw Zoo in Poland.
