1971 Press Photo Captured Stags released to populate Obwalden forests

Freedom Leap. Ten stage, caught in the Swiss National Park in Grisons, have been transported to the central part of Switzerland and put out in the canton of Obwalden, where it is hoped they will stay and populate the Obwalden forests. Photo Shows: A young stag gives a tremendous leap to freedom, on being released from its wooden cage.
