Nusgrave wins the big walk: The 1,000 mile marathon walk from John O' Groate to L~~~dle End, was won bu the Yorkshire glass packer, Jimmy Musgrave. John Grundy, a railway worker, also of Yorkshire, was second, and Alf Rosentals, a miner, of Nottingham was third. Photo shows Jimmy Musgrave, the winner, and John Grundy (left), pictured after the marathon walk today.
