Preparing Fort The National Boat Show: Photo Shows Marie Dunsmore, of New Zealand, demonstrates the Baby's Floating Survival Cot - at Olympia today, where the National Boat on tomorrow. The Cots a life saving device for airlines. Ships and boats, is a completely closed in cot which, with its self-erecting hoof and canopy, not only provides flotation, but also protection from waves, spray, rain, wind and exposure. The baby, wrapped in the usual blanket, may be tied down inside the cot with two bands of fabric before an aircraft ditches. After ditching the mother can use both her hands for climbing out of the aircraft with the cot suspended by a shoulfer starp.
