1965 Press Photo Attempts to catch Goldie the London Zoo Eagle fail

Golden Eagle Escapes From The London Zoo: An attempt to recapture a Golden Eagle which escaped from the London Zoo yesterday were renewed again today. The 7-year-old male eagle "Goldie" escaped as his keeper opened the door of his cage, and several attempts to recapture him failed. Today he was spotted perched on the top of a tree on the outer circle of Regent's Park. Picture Shows:On lookers gather around the tree and look up at the eagle perched on the top.
