The "Goldie" Story... Continued... Escaped Eagle Still Evades Capture.
Efforts are still in progress in London's Regent's Park for the capture of "Goldie" - the Zoo Golden Eagle which escaped from his cage last Friday... More than fifty people telephoned the Zoo with advice on ow to catch him - such as tape recorded mating calls - drugged meat shot into the trees by an archer - A man turned up and offered to chase the eagle back to his cage with his falcons... "Goldie" appears to have a distinct dislike of dogs - especially little ones - so he make an occasional swoop when one puts in an appearance..
Keystone Photo Shows: Two Zoo keepers seen during one of their latest efforts at the capture of "Goldie" in Regent's Park yesterday... One of them uses his jacket - Matador style - but no... "Goldie" gets away once again.
