10-12-56 Three monkeys escape from pet store and visit a public house - Three monkeys, from a consignment of thirty at ta large pet store in Camden Town escaped from their cage during the weekend and caused havoc in the store. It appears the monkeys forced their way from their cage and then went around opening the cages of the other monkeys. The three that got out of the store were found at "The Spread Eagle', a local public house and were returned to the store this morning. Keystone Photo Shows: Mr. John Palmer the owner of the store with the recaptured monkeys this morning. Two of them are from Java and the other from Africa.
