1964 Press Photo Police Dog Boy demonstrates his jumping abilities

Description
The Four-Legged "Flying Squad": These children are watching police-dog "Boy" as he leaps into action against a "criminal". The children were being given a holiday lecture at the Royal Commonwealth Society in London, given by Mr. Mahir. The children were told that last year, the Metropolitan Police Force's 183 dogs helped to arrest 3,015 criminals, and also found 35 missing people including children and old people who collapsed in the snow last winter. Photo shows Police do "Boy" leaps into action against a police officer playing the part of a criminal, watched by Claudette Corteling,11 and Fuad Nazroo, 6.
