5-3-59 Canine Insurance Associationâs âœDogâs Dinner❠â Kim , an eight-months old black Cocker Spaniel was the guest of honour at the âœDogâs Dinner❠held today to celebrate the silver Jubilee Year of the Canine Insurance Association. Together with his master, Mr. Archie Brown, of Eastbourne, he was chosen by Dennis Price, the film actor, as winner of the Associationâs Silver Jubilee Award last week. For Kim it meant V.I.P. treatment at todayâs party, an extra special reception from the famous dogs and their famous owners who also attended the âœdoâ, a super-dinner consisting of a hunk of the finest steak available in London, and to take home, the biggest bone he has ever seen in his life. The âœdo❠was held at the Connaught Rooms.
