Slow ahead for the great snail race: It promises to set an all time record for slowness - in fact, it's certain to be the slowest race of the century. The snail championship race - which will take place in Brighton on September 13th. All proceeds from this once -in a lifetime event will go to the national organ station for the homeless, "Shelter".
