1954 Press Photo Newmarket Sales opens for Bloodstock

Opening of the Newmarket sales.. Well wraphed up against the Cond: A number of record prices were paid at the Bloodstock sales which opened at Newmarket this morning. Photo shows Mrs. Anthony Askew of Sussex wears a duffle coat - trousers - and a woollen hat - when she attended the sales today.
