"Bravest dog of the year" presentation in London. two men make protest: the national association of dog biscuit manufacturer cup for the 'Bravest dog of the year' was this morning presented to 'lady' owned by nightwatchman George Culley of cleckheaton - at the Waldorf hotel, London. The presentation was made because 'Lady' rescued a terrier from drowning in a frozen mill dam. Gatecrashing Athena reception was Mr. Graham Laycock (28) and Mr. Briang Palmer (24) both of dleckheaton, yorks who protested against the presentation - as Mr. Laycock claimed that it was he himself that rescued the terrier - not "lady". photo shows Two picture Lady (left) with her cup and the terrier which she saved - and which is known as "cheeky" - while bottom Gerahm Laycock makes his protest - watched by colleagure brian Palmer.
