Mrs. Nixon Visits L.C.C. School: Mrs. Nixon, wife of the American Vice-President, today visited Elliott School, Putney. Elliott School, with a roll at pr~~ent of 2,300 boys and girls was opened in June of last year, and is one of the newest and largest of the London County Council's schools offering a comprehensive scheme of education for pupils from 11 years onwards. Photo shows Mrs. Nixon talking to 11-year old Malcolm Castleton, in the pottery class, engaged in making a flower pot for his mother for Christmas.
