Description
There are a lot of people with tough jobs, Idi Amin's press agent comes to mind. Bert Lance's accountant. And now, Larence A. (Tiny) Boyer. Tiny is at the moment, living in a camper in a Chicago parking lot trying to convince people to hold their next convention in his town. His town happens to be Kodlak, Alaska, which, last I looked, was part of the Aleutian Islands. This I consider to be a tough job. Tiny, who weighs 230lbs. and is president of the Kodiak Chamber of Commerce, graciously agreed to an interview. A transcript follows. Me: How are you? Tiny: If i felt any better, I couldn't stand it. Me: How are things going? Tiny: Terrific, terrific, I've got a lot of convention and travel requests. I've got a requests. I've got a lot of request for 5,000 hotel rooms, one for 650 hotel rooms and one for 350 hotel rooms. Me: How many hotel rooms do you have in Kodiak?
