THE ADMIRAL GOES TO SEA AGAIN - IN A LESSER ROLE. The supernumerary officer who was seen yesterday being rowed out to the Sail Training Association's adventure schooner "Sir Winston Churchill" at Dartmouth - is not without seagoing experience. He was Admiral Sir Charles Madden, who has been variously C-in-C Plymouth; Flag Officer, Flotillas, Home Fleet, and Flag Officer, Malta. Sir Charles is assisting the ship's new master, Lieut.-Commander R.L.M. Willoughby, on a cruise with 40 trainees to Glasgow. Photo Shows Sir Charles is rowed out from Kingswear jetty to the schooner "Sir Winston Churchill" by the navigating officer, Mr. Ian Fraser.
