Mr. Maurice Macmillan launches Campaign to remind employers of the equal pay act: Mr. Maurice Macmillan, Secretary of State for Employment today launched a campaign to remind employers of their obligations under the Equal Pay Act, 1970. He has sent a letter to 400,000 firms and industrial and commercial organisations with a new booklet "Equal Pay - What are you doing about it".
