Maurice Chevalier Arrives For A Farewell Tour Of Britain: Maurice Chevalier, the most durable entertainer, and the most popular Frenchman in the world, is about to hang up his famous straw hat for ever. Now nearly 80, though he looks and acts many years younger, he has arrived here to make a farewell tour of Britain.He will do a series of one-man concerts, all one-night stands, starting in Manchester on Feb 13th, and coming to London Palladium on Feb. 18th. His farewell tour will include concerts at Bournemouth, Glasgow, Cardiff and Coventry.
