1954 Press Photo Fred Martell Learns To Ice Skate

IT'S NEVER TOO LATE TO LEARN.. Seems to be the motto of "Young Freddie", otherwise 85-years old ex-soldier, FRED MARTELL. In his lifetime Freddie has done most things, even to celebrating his birthday last year by looping the loop. It became known to the girls of Tom Arnold's Ice Revue at Ramagate, that after seeing the show Freddie had a secret yen to learn to ice skate, and he is now making good progress under the expert tuition of 21-year old LUBA NATOVA 9Left) and 17-years old BERYL FAWCETT.
