1961 Press Photo Earl Russell released From Prison

Earl Russell Released From Prison: Earl Russell, 89, was released today from Brixton Prison after serving a seven-day sentence for inciting the public to take part in yesterday's ban-the-bom demonstration in Trafalgar Square. Also released was Lady Russell from Holloway Prison who was sentenced with him on the same count. Photo shows Earl and Lady Russell in the garden of their Chelsea home shortly after their release from prison today.
