1960 Press Photo Minister Oberlander of Germany

The resignation of Minister Oberlander was demanded by demonstrators on Jan. 18th in West-Berlin. The minister has now declared that he is willing to resign when the accusations against him and cleared which say that he took part in the massacre of Lemberg. But not only the opposition is of the opinion that Oberlander will have to leave his post as Minister for the Refugees no matter whether the accusations of the communists are right or not as at one time he was a convinced representative of the National Socialism.
