Valerie is going to marry 26-year old Micheal Toomey, an Agricultural Officer on a Kenya Coffee Plantation. The couple met at a party at Herne Bay, Kent - and on the tenth day of his leave Michael proposed - Valerie accepted - and now she is making the 7,000 flight.
