Bayreuth Festival 1971 from July 24th till August 27th : On July 24th this years Richard Wagner festival starts in Bayreuth (West Germany). The musical direction is by Eugen Jochum. "Parsival", a production of Wioland Wagner is directed by Peter Lehmann. 55.000 opera fans from all over the world are expected to come to the festival, which has already been sold out.
