23 year old student will conduct a Symphony orchestra at guest appearance on 29.10.72: Maya Soya, a 23 year old music student majoring in conducting will direct 80 men! she conducts the Heidelberg - Mannheim student symphony orchestra, who will make guest appearance on 29 Oct 1972 in the Munich music Hochschule. This young student and wife had, in the beginning, planned only to found a chamber music group for about three years. However the interest it aroused and the student's response to it was so great she decided to put together a complete orchestra. She was the leader of the group, she directed the players, and has remained there up till the present day
