Session of West Germany's Federal Bank With Minister Schiller
During a session of the Central Bank Council lasting for 5 hours, in which also West Germany's new "super minister" (finance and economy), Prof. Karl Schiller, took part, Chairman of West Germany's Federal Bank, Dr. Karl Klasen, and Minister Schiller agreed with each other concerning the question of letting float the DM-currency, after having had disagreements. Moreover they agreed with each other concerning a common stability policy and the setting of the Federal Bank regarding the foreign exchange market.
