Countess Mountbatten launches replica of "Susan Constant".: A replica (which will never sail) of the 'Susan Constant', one of the vessels which landed at Jamestown in 1607, and which will play a leading part in this year's Woolwich Searchlight Tattoo, when the Jamestown landing will be re-enacted, was 'launched' outside Woolwich Town Hall today by Countess Mountbatten. A bottle of River James water, especially flown over by the U.S. Air Force,w as smashed across the bows of the vessel. Photo shows Lt.
